Therapies

Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists are key members of our care team. We provide professionals who know what it takes to help patients find the motivation to improve and succeed. They are experienced working in the home and are able to take advantage of the home setting to deliver high-quality therapy services for patients.

Physical Therapy

Your doctor may decide you need physical therapy to assist with healing after surgery, injuries, accidents or certain diseases. Physical therapy helps ease pain and improves function and mobility. It’s an important part of the home care plan of care for those who need it. Our Physical Therapists evaluate your personal needs in collaboration with your doctor’s plan of care. They may perform hands-on treatment for some symptoms and they also teach you exercises and movements specialized for your personal needs. The goal is to help you move and function better as part of your home care healing plan.

Occupational Therapy

Injury, illness, surgery and other issues may result in your doctor ordering Occupational Therapy (OT). OT teaches you to perform certain tasks, use tools or assistive devices if needed, reduce or eliminate pain, and help you regain independence. OT’s work with your doctor and home care nurse to deliver optimal home care services as prescribed.

Speech Therapy

Some people require the use of Speech Therapy as part of the home care healing process. Individuals may experience problems with language, communication, cognition, and swallowing. Your doctor may include speech therapy in your plan of care. Our Speech Pathologists work with you to assess your personal needs and create a plan to help you improve as much as possible. Programs are structured to each individual’s needs and are a vital component of a home care plan for some patients.
